Milan

In March 2023, during my stay in Paris, I spent four days in Milan to visit one of my best friends who is living there. It was my second time in the city and a completely different experience from the first, the weather was perfect and so were the number of tourists.

Summary

Milan: 3 nights

The hotel

I stayed at the Room Mate Giulia hotel, in the heart of the city, just a few steps from Milan Cathedral. The Duomo area has hundreds of street shops and restaurants, while the city's Fashion District is less than a ten-minute walk away.

The fun and personality-filled decor inspired by Milanese houses from the sixties is by award-winning architect and designer Patricia Urquiola, with retro furniture in vibrant colors and cozy and spacious rooms.

The staff is super polite and helpful, and the breakfast, which is served until noon, is a plus for those who don't want to rush on vacation. The hotel also has a spa and a small gym.

Overall, the hotel is a 4-star hotel with good value for money.

To Go

I thought that Milan didn't have much to do, I was surprised by the number of places I put on my list. I could spend about 10 days in this beautiful and wonderful city to walk around and maybe I still wouldn't have time to do everything.
