Who we are

Behind Ad Astra

Two sisters and two passions

Ad Astra is the result of two passions that crossed paths: photography and travel. But above all, the desire to create something different, something extraordinary and even a little magical."

WHO WE ARE

Ad Astra

Ad Astra was born from a Latin phrase that means “to the stars”.

The original verse of the work Aeneid by the poet Virgil - “sic itur ad astra” - means “this is how one walks to the stars”, a Virgilian expression widely used during aeronautical discoveries.

Thus, the brand arises from the desire to discover the four corners of the globe, portraying each country, people, culture, art and history.

Here, we create copyright photographs. But not just photos, photographs superimposed on unique fabrics made by local artisans from each country we pass through.

Along the fabric of each culture, we weave memories immortalized in images.

Furthermore, in partnership with the traditional travel agency Embarque With Us, based in São Paulo and Ribeirão Preto and 40 years in the market, we will have a space on our website and social networks dedicated to travel guides of the places we visit.

We exist to translate the emotion of having the eyes of a traveler, connecting people, places and cultures.

Enchantment by

WORLD

When you think about your most interesting and fun trips, the most eclectic experiences will probably come to mind.

This is because enchantment around the world is not limited to luxury hotels and experiences, but rather an interesting mix between the simple and the extraordinary, which makes you experience "barefoot luxury".
