The photographs in the Laos collection are an invitation to discover the magical and spiritualized Luang Prabang, Laos.
Every morning at around 5:30 am, a traditional and very special ritual to participate in takes place on the streets of Luang Prabang. Dressed in saffron-dyed robes and with collection bowls strapped to their shoulders, hundreds of monks line up to collect food from local Buddhists.
This enlightenment ceremony, known as Tak Bat , is conducted in complete silence as a form of meditation.
